Access is a biotechnology product for the authentication domain using biometric devices. With this software it will be possible to avoid unwanted access to your PC ensuring that there is a greater level of security of your data.

How it work

When Windows has the login window, just put the fingerprint, and without having to enter user name e password, the system will automatically enter the authentication so the desktop user.
By default the user will set the mode biometric access while classic mode is only possible thanks to the presence of an external physical credentials with administrator rights.

Innovative features

Among the main features, there are different extensions such as the possibility of "enrollment" multiple (we may be able to record all the imprints of hands), the features of "Test Match" to allow up to the immediate verification of the correct acquisition of fingerprints and innovation level of the delegation of access control (Multiuser Logon Administration). In fact this option allows access, in secure and controlled manner to one PC by a user who is not the "owner" but with the same permissions.

Biometric devices

You can take different biometric devices.
The USB versions table mounted on a very short and easy to use, the size smaller than that of a normal micro mouse.

         

Server

The interface has been integrated directly into Active Directory to allow for easier management by the administrator of the system. It was properly created a card through which you can perform all operations (enrollment, cancellation, authorization proxies, entering alias, etc..).

The software does not require any additional database to be installed on the server, all operations will be performed on stored LDAP, which already contains the user management of the domain, thus retaining all the benefits at the time of any trust between domain servers or a copy of the scheme.

Client

Also client-side interface of the member authentication, and with which it interacts, has been completely redesigned and customized. Here is an example of customizing the window display for entering user credentials (the window that follows the one with the request to enter the CTRL + ALT + DEL) and classically presents with the choice of the domain and the integration of user name and password.

Transit on the network of information related to the process of biometric authentication level is also encrypted to the classically performed by Windows for performing authentication in standard mode.

Extensions

In support of the software can be provided in addition to the biometric authentication server (or deploy separately) an additional service monitoring of the state and events of each client domain.
You can draw in "real time" all the events of the client (such as startup, shutdown, the logon, logoff on the locking and unlocking it to logon etc..) So as to have any immediate events blockers as well as produce a comprehensive report of the status of machines on the network over time.
Thanks to the management of the biometric device, you can better manage any changes in the device without going to seriously impact on the client module but mainly by allowing the parallel use of the device between the client module and any other applications that can be integrated with the same biometric technology, such as the system Encription / decription files through user impressions to protect shared documents, or the nature of electronic signatures through impressions etc..

Mainframe

The application operates in a "mainframe" with no GUI for process domain logon and access to services and applications in use by acting as a system of "single sign on".
